I live in Nottingham but I am originally from Bristol. I moved to Nottingham to go to University and decided to stay in Nottingham ever since. I’m a lecturer in Food Science at the University of Nottingham.

I’m a food scientist – which means I try and understand factors that affect food quality – taste, texture & smell of food products. I am a lecturer at the University of Nottingham – so part of my job is teaching food science to undergraduate students and part of my job is researching new food ingredients.
