About Me:
Hey everyone! I recently moved 300 miles away from my family (and my dog) in the South West to the North East to begin my Apprenticeship journey and the start of my career.
This was a big move for me at 18. Everyday, I face new and sometimes challenging situations both in work and in my personal life but I am having so much fun!
I love going to work everyday where I deal with data, do some programming and help improve the quality of our medicines and make sure they reach our patients faster.

I am a first-year Apprentice at GSK based at one of our smart manufacturing sites. Harnessing the power of technology and data, allows us to get vaccines and medicines of the highest quality standard to those who need them faster. Robots, Machine Learning and AI are giving us new ways to deliver at speed and get ahead of disease.
Being an Apprentice means I study part time and get my qualification paid for. I can apply my learning to help solve real-life problems and gain valuable work experience.

I am very lucky to live a short walk away from the site so I don’t have to wake up extremely early. I never skip breakfast; I believe it sets you up well for the day.
My typical working day is 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and we go home early on a Friday!
