I’m an Engineer is always an exciting time of the year. Students in the June event have asked questions on everything from renewable energy to self-repairing satellites to the classic pen versus pencil debate, and the live chats were tempting engineers to play hooky. We’ve also heard some great comments from teachers and engineers:
If you want to be a part of this, we have great news: For the first time, we are running I’m an Engineer in November!
The next I’m an Engineer, Get me out of here event will run from the 9th to the 20th November 2015!!
Teachers register by Sunday 20th September at: imanengineer.org.uk/teachers
Engineers apply by Sunday 27th September at: imanengineer.org.uk/engineer-apply
Teachers will get an email in early September asking them to choose their classes’ zones.
We can already confirm we will be running the Energy Zone and Production Zone thanks to funding from the Institution of Engineering and Technology and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
More STEM engagement…
During the same two weeks in November we’ll also be running I’m a Scientist, Get me out of here. Read more about that here…
