Schools taking part in I’m an Engineer March 2016

I’m an Engineer, Get me out of here is back! In March students at nearly 50 schools will be interacting with 25 engineers across 5 different zones during this year’s British Science Week.

Between 7th–18th March school students will put the scientists through their paces in fast-paced live chats and probing questions on everything from surgery and food, to fuel and robotics.

For the latest news and announcements about the event, find us on Twitter, @iaegmooh, and follow the hashtag, #IAEUK.

Let’s meet the engineers and schools taking part in…

Priyanka Dhopade | University Of Oxford

I research how to improve jet engines to make them more efficient.

Paul Duff | PX Limited

As an Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Engineer on a Combined Heat Power station I am responsible for the design and maintenance of anything that uses or generates electricity and steam.

Christine Coonick | Building Research Establishment

I’m an engineer in disguise. I am based at the BRE National Solar Centre at the Eden Project in Cornwall, where we are developing a Smart Solar test site.
